Adapted Physical Education

Hello Students, Parents, Friends and Community Members,

Welcome to the Adapted Physical Education page! For those who do not know me, I have two beautiful children (son and daughter) and a husky fur-baby. All bring us so much joy! We are so blessed to have this sweet little family of ours.

My love and passion have been working with students with special needs since I twelve years old. Having a mother who works in special education herself, has been my largest inspiration for my career. Since I have begun this journey, I have become a co-author, received my Masters in Administration, National Board Certified Teacher, served on the Executive Committee for the State Council on Adapted Physical Education, taught in a special education center and as an APE itinerant, guided beginning teachers in clearing their credentials and have coordinated the School Games Special Olympics events for LAUSD. I am excited to continue this path working with our students in the Los Angeles area.
