About Us

Welcome to Broad Avenue's website! Broad Avenue is located in Wilmington, CA and serves students from both Wilmington & Carson. We like to call ourselves the "Heart of the Harbor" because Wilmington is part of the Los Angeles Harbor. We are a very student-driven learning community who believes that all students can learn and have equal access to educational standards as set by the State of California.
 
We also believe that it takes everyone to make this happen. We are a School-Wide Title I school with after-school programs such as L.A's Best and Youth Services, and before school supervision as well. We offer Resource Services under Special Education along with 4 Special Day classes K-5th grade as well. In 2018, Broad Avenue opened Dual Language Immersion (Spanish) Program.

Title I Annual Meeting/ Reunion Anual de Titulo I 2026-2027

Please join us on Thursday, September 10, 2026 at 3:30 pm in the auditorium for the Title I Annual Meeting. The meeting is to to inform parents and family members about the Title I Program, its requirements, and the funding associated with it.
